As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible to maintain an accurate maintenance system to effectively plan and schedule work packages, to meet current and future business needs. Your ability to establish rapport with suppliers as well as key internal contacts is essential to your success in this role.Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, your duties include but are not limited to:
· Prepare a 4 week plus rolling maintenance plan
· Assess and question the suitability of current maintenance tactics and modify/change where necessary.
· Identify key leverage for improvement (Costs, reliability, capacity)
· Take a lead role in budget preparation and re-forecasting for maintenance costs.

To be successful in this role you will need a proven background in procurement in a mining / construction environment. You will possess excellent time management skills and have a strong attention to detail. You have an openness and desire to take on this role to bring about efficiencies and streamlining. Previous experience in JDE will be well perceived.
