Recently listed [Location] Exploration Company is looking to appoint a Senior Geologist to work out of their head office[Location] .
The company is currently in the process of reviewing historical data on one of Australia’s largest known uranium deposits, prior to moving towards resource definition stage within the next 2 months. The company has also identified high grade Nickel and Cobalt mineralisation, which has suggested the potential to realise a stand alone mining operation.
Reporting to the GM Geology, you will be primarily responsible for managing all aspects of the resource definition, including supervising an established team of junior field geologists, design and planning work programs, interpretation and modeling of data and report writing.
The company has secured funding and is estimating an annual running budget in the region of AUD$10m.
To be considered you must hold tertiary qualifications in geology, with a proven background running exploration programs from the office and in the field. Exposure to resource definition and prior uranium and nickel exposure would be very highly regarded.
