Metallurgy and Process Development Manager

Job Duties:
- Liaise with regions to ensure key
opportunities and risks and understood, capture or mitigated
- Liaise with Regional Group
Metallurgists to evaluate site opportunities and set up plans to extract this
additional value
- Liaise with Regional Group
Metallurgists to evaluate key risks at the operating sites and formulate plans
to mitigate these risks
- Review and critique proposed metallurgical
research and optimization programs.
- Contribute to the development and
execution of corporate R&D initiatives
- Leading or participating in the
preparation of scoping studies, pre-feasibilities, feasibilities and due
diligences
- Monitor and control metallurgical
test work for ore flow sheer development
- Review and critique sustaining
capital expenditures, AFE’s and projects justifications
Skill Requirements:
- Broad experience managing people,
processes and systems
- Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgy
/ Chemical Engineering)
- 15 years minimum post-grad work
experience
- Travel flexibility (50% travel)
