Our client is an ASX listed company in the field of contract mining and construction and are growing rapidly. With established operations in Australia our client is now looking to increase the size and scope of its business and securing quality people is a vital factor to that growth strategy.
A great opportunity exists for a quality Mine Engineer. Ideally you will have previous experience in surface mining or a similar environment. You must be suitably qualified and willing to be part of a team.
You will report to the Project manager and be responsible for:
· Mine planning
· Mine design for open pit operations and to plan
· Provide technical support to the Project Manager
· Adhere to all statutory requirements for planning and reporting of the project
· Production monitoring
· Work as part of a team and contribute to meetings
· Embrace a safety culture and look to continuously improve safety
