We are a 40-year old company with an annual turnover of over Rs.1000 cores. We are the largest manufacturers of aluminium extrusions in the country with more than 7000 varieties of sections being extruded and having one third share in the domestic market. The company is well known for its quality products since 1968, having established its brand name in India and abroad. The registered office and works are located on the outskirts of Bangalore city in a pollution-free environment. We are also involved in continuous expansion/modernization of the plant.
Fully responsible for managing all aspects of the largest Aluminum extrusion plant in India including Raw Material Receipt, 6 extrusion pressess, sophisticated Tool Room, Quality, Maintenance, Product Development, Store and Shipping. About 10 AGM /Dy GMs heading various departments will be reporting to this position. The total workforce is 800 including about 80 engineers.
Desired Candidate Profile:
· The candidate should be a metallurgist/mechanical engineer with 15 years experience in an engineering shop floor, with at least 5 years as Plant Head.
· He should have thorough knowledge and experience of all departments of a manufacturing plant.
· He should be familiar with modern concepts relating to production planning, quality / cost control, preventive maintenance, safety, inventory management and automation.
· He should be a hard task master capable of leading by example and motivating employees to produce results.
· He should be a perfectionist, should have people skills, analytical skills and should be willing to consider himself on duty 24 hours a day
