Fugro-Jason is part of the Fugro Geoscience Division.
Due to continued growth and demand for our services we are seeking QI Geophysicists for our London and Aberdeen based operations.
Responsibilities:
After an initial training period, your key responsibility is to undertake integrated, quantitative reservoir characterization projects based on our Jason Geos cience Workbench technology. Depending on your experience, the scope of your involvement can range from execution of work assignments within such projects, to independently defining and managing large, integrated multidisciplinary projects. In all positions you will be involved with applying leading edge reservoir characterization technologies.
Your key duties will include:
undertaking post-stack, pre-stack and 4D seismic inversion projects, from data loading to analysis and delivery of final results.
Requirements:
The Senior Geoscientist position requires substantial industry experience (minimum of 8 years) in some of the following fields: Reservoir Characterization, Geological Modeling, Seismic Inversion, Seismic Processing, Geo statistical Modeling, Rock Physics, Seismic & Quantitative Interpretation, 4D Seismic Interpretation and OBC data analysis.
The Geoscientist position requires experience in some of the following fields: Reservoir Characterization, Geological Modeling, Seismic Inversion, Seismic Processing, Geo statistical Modeling, Rock Physics Modeling, 4D Seismic Interpretation and OBC Data Analysis.
Our work has a high impact on our customer's drilling and field development decisions and is carried out in close cooperation with our customers, so good communication and presentation skills are essential.
