Our Client is currently looking for an experienced Metallurgist / Process Engineer / Supervisor to join the project team as part of the commissioning crew for a major expansion involving extra ball mill and flotation capacity in a major base metal operation.
You will be able to demonstrate at least three years experience in the operation of a flotation plant and preference will be given to candidates who can also show commissioning experience. Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will play an integral part in ensuring that the Production Group is able to take ownership and to safely and efficiently operate the facilities delivered by the project following handover.
Required Experience:
· Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy or Process Engineering though candidates with extensive industry and commissioning experience will be considered
· Experience in dealing with the Original Equipment Manufacturers, consultants and contractors involved in the Mining Sector.
· Some knowledge of Project Management and Project Planning
· Knowledgeable in the process and operation of grinding and flotation
· Have or be able to obtain S1, S2, S3 metalliferrous training
