Section Eng / Unit Manager

·         R900 k plus bonuses negotiable
Our client is a world class leader in producing precious metals.
They employ over 90 000 employees in Africa and they are listed on the JSE and NYSE. They are seeking an individual who has a technical qualification in Electrical or Mechanical engineering and GCC Mines & Works coupled with at least 3 years experience managing maintenance staff.

You will do the following:
·         responsible for plant maintenance
·         Ensure all machinery and equipment is optimally maintained
·         Support the achievement of the production targets through effective operational performance.
·         Administration of managerial, control, financial and maintenance systems.
·         Overall management of teams of maintenance and construction teams
·         Legal requirements compliance
·         Leal inspections and periodic audits
·         SHE Risk Control
·         Effective SHE system and reporting
·         Cost control
·         Effective incident investigation and reporting
·         Trend analysis and reports for the concerntrators.
·         Managing and coordinating the overall Safety, Health and Environmental initiatives and systems at the concerntrators.
·         Valid drivers licence.
·         Computer literacy The following additional qualification will be advantageous:-
·         Experienced user of SAP an advantage
