Controller

Burkina Manganese S.A.R.L., a manganese mining company has an opening for the position of Controller in our Burkina Faso (West Africa) office.  This position is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions, cash management, asset management, revenue accounting, general ledger and account analysis.  This is an ideal position for a recent graduate who wants a ground-floor opportunity with a dynamic company. 

Requirements: 

• BA/BS degree in accounting
• One year experience but waived with appropriate education qualifications
• CPA a plus but not a requirement
• Requirement to be fluent in spoken and written English and French
• Effectively communicate with all levels including senior level management
• Design, implement and maintain appropriate level of internal control
• Work independently and resourcefully
• Manage a high volume of detail

Proficient in technology skills:

• MS Office Suite, Accounting Software, and data transfers used for analytical and reporting purposes.

Compensation Package:

• Salary commensurate with experience
