Premier privately held independent energy company seeks
exploration and production Geologist with significant experience in Central and
North
Louisiana.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work as a team with
geophysicist and engineers providing geological input to produce integrated
concepts leading to exploration and development drilling opportunities.
- Extensive mapping and generation of
exploration and production concepts utilizing well log and other geologic data.
- Ability to evaluate drilling results
and provide geological support for drilling activity.
- 7+ years Geology experience.
Exploration and exploitation of the Wilcox, Hosston, Cotton Valley, Haynesville and Smackover
Formations preferred.
- BS in Geology or Geophysics.
- Strong computer skills. SMT Kingdom a plus.
- Excellent communication and
presentation skills.
