Mine Production Supervisor

Our client, an international leader in the mining and exploration of diamonds is seeking a highly qualified and motivated candidate for the vacancy of Mine Production Supervisor. The incumbent will work on a rotation, while maintaining residency in Timmins.

Reporting to Mine Management, the candidate will be responsible for:

• Communicating daily operational plans and objectives to crews.
• Allocate adequate machinery to effective and efficient loading of waste and kimberlite.
• Identify bad underfoot and utilize equipment to rectify conditions.
• Identify haul roads and dumpsites that need repair.
• Ensure that all records on machine utilization are recorded.
• Analyze machine utilization records to identify trends.
• Implement and follow up on operating procedures.

 Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in mining technology or related field.
• 5 years of mining experience and supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years open pit mining experience.
