Project Engineer: Environmental Engineering

Project Engineer required for one of Europe's leading Environmental Engineering Firms. You will be involved some of the UKs most advance engineering projects, all dealing with major environmental issues currently impacting the UK.
Your role will involve in the daily monitoring of the progress of projects; current project includes installation of two new build waste treatment facilities in Lancashire.
The facilities are sophisticated and will include a materials recycling facility (MRF) and all the associated infrastructure including biofilters and leachate and surface water control systems. The combined capacity of the two facilities will be in the region of 500,000 tonnes pa. The Project Engineer will report to the project director who is based in Lancashire.
Successful candidate must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree ( e.g. in Mining, Production, Metallurgy, Waste Water or Automotive Engineering)
Candidates must have a experience of projects within the any of following industries: Waste Treatment, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Recycling or Mining. Furthermore the have experience of project work from conception to completion.
As part of a Europe wide team, the candidate will be involved in the delivery of consultancy and engineering services. Successful applicants will be expect to travel throughout the UK and occasionally within continental Europe.
