Senior Geotechnical Engineer

A market leader is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their Glasgow offices.
Candidates will most likely be chartered Engineers (ICE) or Geologists, with a first degree in Civil Engineering or Geology and an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the following design areas:
· Foundation
· Earthworks
· Ground Treatment
You will also have a good understanding of ground investigation techniques and its importance in deriving appropriate design parameters.
A knowledge of contaminated land investigation and assessment would also be an advantage. The ability to plan and deliver projects both as part of a team and under your own initiative is essential.
