Senior Metallurgist - Alternate Processing Manager

Opportunity for a Senior Metallurgist to join a leading gold producer and work on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth. Looking to take the next step in your career? Work as the alternate Plant Manager!

As a leading gold mining house, this company has many profitable mines across Australia and the globe. With many new and exciting projects in the pipeline, they are well placed to support your career well into the future.

Working closely with the Processing Manager this role will see you leading a team of Metallurgists within a plant that is responsible for producing over 200,000 ounces of gold per annum.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the processing plant including:
·         Leading and developing your team of Plant Metallurgists
·         Putting together project proposals for plant efficiency
·         Identifying plant production problems and bottlenecks and implementing appropriate solutions
·         Budgeting and planning procedures
·         Stepping up to Alternate Plant Manager duties when required

To be considered for this position you will require relevant tertiary qualifications along with 5+ years in plant metallurgy and solid experience with gold. This is an excellent opportunity for you to show your true potential and let your leadership skills grow.
