Environmental Advisor

Our Client, a West Australian based supplier of iron ore to the Chinese and Japanese markets are now seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Environmental Advisor to join their operations.
The role is [Location] based Monday – Friday and will offer a competitive remuneration package.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Assisting with obtaining project environmental approvals, including liaison with consultants exploration environmental and permitting support
· Providing advice and assistance with operations environmental management
· Providing assistance with the management of biological surveys (for project approvals)
· Mentoring of junior and site-based environmental personnel
· Providing advice to project expansion studies
· Providing assistance in maintaining ISO 14001 certification of Environmental Management System
· Preparing, implementing and communicating environmental policy, processes, practices and procedures.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will possess:
· A Degree in Environmental Science or similar
· 2+ years previous environmental experience within the mining industry
