Environmental Field Technician

HRP has an immediate opening for an environmental field technician.
- The major function of an environmental field technician is to perform various environmental sampling activities including, soil and groundwater sampling, low flow groundwater sampling, soil gas sampling, indoor air quality sampling, data collection, supervision of test boring and monitoring well installation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems, site assessment support activities, and maintenance of field sampling, air monitoring and remediation equipment. Individuals will work with vapor extraction, ground water pump and treat, and dual-phase recovery systems, amongst others.
- We prefer a candidate with 40 Hour OSHA (29 CFR 1910.120) HAZWOPER health and safety training, but will train the right person.
- An associates or undergraduate degree in environmental science, geology, science, engineering or related field is a plus.
- We will consider entry-level candidates who possess the appropriate background.
- The successful candidate will be a responsible, mechanically inclined, self-motivated individual who is eager to take advantage of an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the environmental field with one of the most highly regarded firms in this business.
- Any previous experience in site investigation, remediation, construction or other outdoor fieldwork is advantageous.
