Our client has been selling equipment, parts and service to the construction, mining and agriculture since 1994 and provide customer service throughout various countries within Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Among the ten largest countries in the world by area, Kazakhstan boasts a booming mining industry currently valued at over US$3bn and contributes close to 30% of the country's export earnings and 19% of all industrial production.
The Kazakhstan mining industry is forecast to grow an average 8.81% per annum over 2008-2012, with the industry value reaching US$5.69bn in 2012.
Reporting to the Mining Division Manager, the MARC Manager will be responsible for the management of the Site Team Project Managers, Project Finance and Administration Supervisor, Equipment Management Group Supervisor and Project Parts Operation Supervisor.
You will be responsible for the:
· implementation and compliance of the Maintenance and Repair Contract (MARC) between the Company and customer whilst maintaining close business relationships. Other responsibilities will include managing the MARC on a medium and short time basis, ensuring management of several site maintenance activities including estimating and providing for necessary resources, planning and scheduling PM and overhaul intervals, and monitoring service time, machine down times and availability.
· You will also ensure that safety standards are maintained by the various site teams including machine inspections, equipment condition data is kept up to date, manage the supply chain through the equipment management team in conjunction with the MARC Analyst and the CRC, monthly reporting is maintained, and all relevant site data is communicated either to the Company or the customer.
· You will also be accountable for the overall financial administration of the project.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you possess:
· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent customer liaison and relationship developing skills
· Strong computer skills
· Good time management skills
· Good knowledge of Caterpillar and O&K product
· Good knowledge of Caterpillar’s Information systems
· Understanding on maintenance strategies
· Practical experience using maintenance procedures and in maintaining Caterpillar/O&K equipment
· Basic Accounting principles understanding in the importance of cash flows and cost allocations
· Conversation Russian language skills would be highly regarded
