This role is part of a small but busy and expanding team. Successful candidates need to be self motivated, enthusiastic, a good communicator, particularly with written reports and be able to work well with others in the group and with clients.
Duties will include:
· Undertaking geotechnical engineering projects in a range of soil and rock types for roading, mining, industrial and government clients.
· The emphasis will be on data interpretation, analysis and design;
· Project Management, contract management, client liaison and budget control;
· Business development - building on existing, and developing new, client relationships in order to pursue and win successful and profitable projects;
· Field work supervision including mapping, drilling, hand augers, soil and rock logging and testing - all as and when required.
