Miner II

- Must be able to competently stope and sub-drift on their own, perform underground construction duties as required and must be proficient in the safe operation of mobile equipment (including LHD).
- Must be proficient in the safe operation of conventional, track mining equipment such as jackleg, stoper, 12B & LM56 mucking machines, and slusher.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year mining experience as a Miner III. (Total underground mining experience of at least 2 years.)
- Candidates from outside of Ontario will have to demonstrate their proficiency in order to become certified under the Ontario Common Core for Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Skills and applicable Specialty Module
