Summary:
- Quality Engineer position with a Mid-west Forging facility. Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Metallurgy is required.
Position Summary:
- Review and assure compliance with customer blueprints, specs and other technical documents.
- Conduct metallurgical evaluations and prepare reports on raw materials and product to assist in obtaining process approvals.
- Operate and maintain testing/certification systems
- Coordinate customer (ESA) approval for mfg processes
- Provide order specs to purchasing dept
- Perform both internal and external audit
- Provide guidance to other departments on Metallurgical matters
- Assure that all aspects of the Quality Manual/Procedures are followed
