Programme Manager

Our client is a world class leader in producing precious metals.
 
This role requires someone with:
·         Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Processing, Finance
·         MBA advantageous
·         At least 7 years business experience of which at least five should be in a mining or engineering environment
·         Project/Programme management background preferred
·         Understanding of Value Based Management concepts
·         Computer literate for role
 
Physical requirements:
·         • Certificate of Fitness
 
Work Description:
The Manager Value Based Management reports directly to the Head of Corporate Program Office.
 
The incumbent gives input to the strategy and plans, is responsible for the formulation of Value Based Systems, strategy, policies and procedures for implementation in the company.
 
The time frame of work is 1 to 5 years but some plans will be on a longer timeframe.
 
Technical work responsibilities:
·         Value Based strategy and plans
·         Value Based systems strategy, policies and plans
·         Project management
 
Core work outputs:
·         Design and introduce the necessary structures to launch Value Based Management (VBM) in the company
·         Provide ongoing tracking of the status of the company's’s VBM introduction.
·         Align VBM introduction with peer subsidiaries.
·         Ensure VBM communication throughout the organisation
·         Define an effective set of performance measures and reports to ensure the company’s VBM project safety in line with the overall business objectives.
·         Support Project constituents with suitable toolkit, clear reporting guidelines, project management advice and VBM background coaching.
·         Advise and support Corporate Heads on VBM issues

·         Monitor implementation and communicate progress
·         Interpret and monitor quality of implementation
·         Define rules

·         Manager once removed: CEO
·         Manager: Head of Corporate Program Office
·         Role: Manager Value Based Management
