·         R800 000 - R 1 300 000 per annum
Exceptional opportunities exists for 3 * Managers Mining with one of South Africa’s Iron Ore Mining giants.
The role will involve the management of the mining operations as well as technical aspects of the mining.
They are looking for individuals with broad technical knowledge of open-cast mining operations and processes.

The positions will be based either in the Northern Cape or Limpopo Province

Minimum Requirements:
·         B.Sc Degree/B.Eng.(Mining)
·         A post graduate qualification will serve as a recommendation
·         7-12 years relevant experience including experience at an open cast mine
·         Mine Managers certificate of competency

Job Key Performance Areas:
·         Manage ore extraction activities across the mine
·         Develop the Mining Strategy and ensure the execution there of
·         Ensure that the business plan contributes to overall success of Kumba
·         Critical input to the Mine plan in accordance with the life of Mine plan
·         Manage budget and cost within the required framework
·         Create and maintain a positive business climate and a high performance culture
·         Ensure that processes and procedures comply with statutory requirements
·         Adherence and implementation of all SHE and other legal requirements
