Senior Environmental Advisor

Our Client is one of the world's leading gold producers with a portfolio of 27 mining operations across 5 continents. The company is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join their [Location] Office. The role will have some visits to site required.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and corporate environmental policies
· Assisting the Environmental Manager in the development of environmental management systems to ensure legislative compliance
· Assist sites with closure planning, estimation of rehabilitation costs
· Assist the sites with coordination of environmental approvals of new projects
· Assist with the development and implementation of rehabilitation and monitoring programs
· Assist with the coaching, mentoring and development of environmental advisors across the sites.
To be considered for this role you will ideally possess:
· A Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
· 3+ years previous environmental experience within the mining industry
