Our client represents a strategic joint venture introducing world leading technology to Australian Iron Ore production. Production is scheduled to start in the first quarter 2009 for this instrumental new project focused on Magnetite Iron Ore Processing, preceded by an early Hematite processing start-up phase.
Initially reporting to the Project Metallurgical Manager your pre-development duties will focus on providing technical input towards plant and process design and process control strategies, particularly in the areas of crushing, grinding and flotation. As production begins you will report directly to the Production Superintendent, controlling the day to day operations of the new plant, identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements.
Degree qualified in Metallurgy or similar you will demonstrate substantial plant process control experience particularly in Crushing, Grinding and Flotation. Knowledge and experience in Magnetite Ore Processing will be favourably looked upon as will previous start up success.
