Senior Production Metallurgist

Reporting to the Metallurgy Superintendent, and having Plant and Graduate Metallurgists reporting to the role, the main responsibilities in providing metallurgical support for the running of the process plant will incorporate
Daily liaison with production and maintenance personnel:
· Coaching and mentoring of Plant and Graduate Metallurgists;
· Undertaking mineral processing plant development and improvement investigations;
· Supporting budgeting and forecasting and
· Providing support for Project Development.
Degree qualified in Metallurgy or similar you will have previous experience in a senior Metallurgy role in a metals extraction plant. To succeed in this role you will be highly self-motivated and an independent thinker who enjoys succeeding through others. Experience in gold processing will be highly regarded but is not essential.
