Exploration Geologist

·         R 60 000 monthly CTC plus performance bonus
Geologist with 3-4 years of exploration experience in Coal and/or Iron Ore

Minimum Requirements:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification plus at least 3 years experience

Job Specification:
Established mining company that has several projects at exploration stage

The following Skills are required:Develop and mentor junior geologists:
·         Responsible for planning and design/preparation of geological reports through execution of drilling work.
·         Conducting core logging and interpretation of lithographical conditionsInterpretation of sites and detailed petrophysical analysis of the log results
·         Preparation of geological borehole forecasts and structural production.
·         NB:Successful candidates must understand all geological technologyDrillingCore logging, mapping outcrop, strategy planning and operational management

Scope:
Project manage many exploration projects as well as investigation of new exploration
