AREVA Resources Canada Inc. is embarking on a period of growth with several uranium mining and milling projects. Now is your opportunity to join the exploration team and be an integral part of the company as our Geophysicist.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for consulting with project geologists, planning, implementing, supervising, processing and interpreting geophysical surveys in a multi-project environment. The successful candidate will prepare interpretation reports and recommend targets for further detailed follow-up with supplementary geophysics or diamond drilling. This will all be accomplished in our Saskatoon office, with the opportunity to make field visits to the exploration projects as required.
- We are seeking a university graduate in geophysics at a Bachelor’s or Master’s level with a minimum of 2-5 years mineral exploration experience.
- You will have a strong understanding of EM theory and the application of the common earth model concept of integrating geophysical data with geology.
- The incumbent will demonstrate the ability to manage new techniques and computer assisted interpretational methods, therefore good computer skills are essential.
