Log-in Technician

We are currently seeking a Log-in Technician. This is a full-time, hourly position reporting to the Log-in Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving samples from clients at the counter directly or by courier delivery
- Sorting the samples and making note of any deficiencies
- Discussing the project with the client to ensure clarity of the requirements, if necessary
- Using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to log-in the samples and generate labels
- Placing samples in the appropriate areas of the laboratory
- Preparing bottles for client pick-up or shipping
- Assisting the receptionist in answering the phone, if necessary
Education and Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer literacy
- Excellent telephone and people skills
- University/College degree, an asset
