JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement petroleum engineering systems and activities within New Age
- Provide engineering expertise to a broad range of international assets, with a specific remit to optimise asset value and maximise production efficiency.
- Support the overseas operations
- Provide PE input into all business development, asset and corporate evaluations
- Attend data rooms and partner meetings as required
- Provide petroleum economics and valuations
ACADEMIC/TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSc/BA (Hons) in relevant subject
- MSc in Petroleum Eng or equivalent training within Major
SPECIALIST/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR APTITUDE:
- Electric log analysis
- Well test design and analysis
- Reservoir modelling and management
- Economic modelling
- Field Development Planning
- Reserves booking
- Completion design
- Artificial lift
- Sand control
- Stimulation
- Nodal analysis and production system modeling
EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES :
- 8 to 12 years in Petroleum Eng within a number of Operators
- Experience in well and reservoir management and field development planning
- Extensive overseas travel or time as expatriate
- Ideally worked on Africa, Middle East
- Self starter with the motivation to deliver results against tight deadlines
- Pragmatic and flexible individual, able to handle and prioritise multiple projects
