Our Client is a mineral exploration and development group, with a focus in gold, nickel, copper, iron ore and uranium opportunities in Central and East Africa.
The company will commence exploration of its portfolio of Mineral Assets with the goal to increase the value of its assets through development and possible production of the economically feasible assets.
The company has a need a guy for a Chief Operating Officer (COO), someone with experience towards the exploration and evaluation side of mineral development, rather than the mining side.
- The ideal person will be adaptable and compliments their technical expertise with solid overseas exploration and development experience.
- You will be a graduate geologist and even though you may not currently be a COO, you will need to know the minerals exploration business.
- The role offers an 6-figure Executive package and for the right candidate, based in UK on a FI:FO (6 and +-2 roster).
- The role reports to Chairman and the company would prefer a start in Sept/ Oct 2008
