Overland Resources Limited is an Australian listed base metal and nickel exploration and development company. The Company’s key asset the Andrew Zinc Deposit, located in the Yukon Territory of Canada, is rapidly advancing through to feasibility.
Overland Resources is now seeking a key individual to take control of the Company’s exploration program in North America. Based out of the Vancouver office this role is essential to enable the Company to achieve its strategic goals.
The individual will be responsible for
- The planning and implementation of the Company’s exploration activities
- Identifying exploration opportunities consistent with the corporate strategic plan, and assisting in negotiations for the acquisition of such opportunities
- Preparing and implementing a consolidated exploration plan and budget
- Direct supervision of geological staff and outside consultants
- Reporting exploration results and expenditures on a regular basis
- Contributing to corporate strategic plan
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Degree in Earth Sciences
- Have 5 to 10 years exploration related experience
- A can do self motivated attitude
- Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy
- A willingness to undergo frequent trave
- Excellent written and verbal reporting skills
- Understanding of First Nations and Community relation
- Experience in nickel and base metal exploration will be held in high regard
- Excellent compensation package commensurate with experience is offered.
