Financial Analyst

• The successful candidate must be ACA or CIMA qualified and have at least 2 years post qualification experience
• For this position they require strong financial insight and analytical capabilities, ability to understand and explain commercial and operational issues and have understanding of complex commercial and accounting issues.
• The Financial Analyst would report to the Head of Performance Reporting in respect of the following analysis work with particular focus and responsibility for one or more of the principal businesses within the group.
• Providing valuable analysis and insightful review of the results of the analyst's business as well as Group results
• Review of value driver and performance reports produced by the analyst's business for forecasts, plan and actual reporting
• Preparation of Group monthly management report for the Executive Board ensuring key issues are highlighted with focus on key value drives and trend analysis
• Attendance at relevant business Quarterly Performance reviews with CEO Committee with appropriate analysis and feedback to support process
• Preparation of updated forecasts for the Executive Board and any sensitivities in respect of that forecast as well as review of risks and opportunities to Group results
• Preparation of annual business plan and detailed budget for the Group with appropriate supporting analysis
