Our client has been providing cost-effective solutions to the mining industry for over 20 years. They provide fully integrated business solutions that give mining personnel the information they need in a format they can understand. Based in [Location], and continuing to expand rapidly on a National and International level, they are now seeking a Junior Programmer.
Your role will involve the ongoing maintenance and development of management reports for clients. You will be analysing data from the software in relation to mining operations and reporting statistics to mining managers and other key stakeholders. You will also provide ongoing support to clients by phone and on-site.
You will be provided with training which will allow you to become familiar with the software. This will enable you to provide support to clients by phone and on-site.
To be successful in this role you will have recent qualifications in IT and be looking to commence your career or build on your experience. Prior experience in IT is not essential, but will be highly regarded. Any exposure to Progress would also be highly regarded. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be dealing with clients on a daily basis. You will undergo training to enable you to become familiar with the software.
