Project Engineer

SIFCO Minneapolis is a specialized provider of services to the aerospace, power, marine and industrial turbine market. We currently have an opening available in Minneapolis, MN for a Project Engineer to develop, implement and troubleshoot repair processes for turbine engine components.
- Must have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years progressive, post- baccalaureate experience with repair process development.
Must also have 5 years progressive, post- baccalaureate experience with each of the following:
- project management, including experience managing multiple repair development and/or process improvement projects concurrently
- repair development of hot section, superalloy, gas turbine components
- welding, brazing, and thermal spray coating processes
- Metallurgy Optical/SEM analysis
- disposition of non-conforming parts
- use of AutoCAD at an advanced level
Experience must have been acquired after completion of the Bachelor's Degree program. SIFCO will accept any suitable combination of education or experience.
