Our client, operating a world class refinery operation, has a current requirement for a Senior Electrical Engineer, to provide strong electrical engineering technical support, design and project management to a range of on site projects. This will be achieved through cooperation of departments and complying to company policies and procedures. You will investigate fixed plant modifications and upgrade projects with the engineering team and complete such projects on budget and on time.
Your responsibilities in this position will include:
· Promote safety, environment and best practice
· Knowledge of design engineering and project management
· Improve reliability and availability of plant equipment
· Provide a high level of problem solving ability
· Supervisor other engineers and liaise with consultants
The successful candidate will have proven experience and knowledge with complex processing plants from either a mining or heavy industrial background, this will be coupled with strong communication skills and computer literacy. Applicants should have previous experience in a similar role highlighted with a proactive approach to work and best practice.
To be considered in this role you will have electrical engineering qualifications or similar. Your strong design and project management exposure will guarantee your success in this role.
