This dynamic EPCM specialist are world leaders in providing specialist technical expertise in the alumina industry and are one of the top 3 alumina players in the world. This technical excellence has earned the Minerals and Metals division exciting and diversified high profile projects within Queensland.
Due to massive growth and the winning of new projects they are in they are currently seeking a professional and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join this technical specialist group.
The Person:
· At least +5 years similar experience with 2 years in a lead role
· Industrial and materials handling experience
· PLC/HMI system programming - desirable
· Strong initiative, professional nature with the ability to confidently lead a team of engineers of all levels of experience
The Role:
· Lead a multidiscipline engineering team
· Participate in design reviews, value engineering workshops and HAZOPS
· The design and development of software, consistent with company quality standards for control and instrumentation packages
· Frequent direct contact with clients ensuring design adhering to the client's specification, requirements and standards
· Project engineering including design, selection, procurement, installation and commissioning
