They are currently seeking a Metallurgist to join the team and ensure production targets are met in this busy plant.
Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist, this Plant Metallurgist will be responsible for providing technical assistance to processing teams to achieve budgeted production in a safe and efficient manner. It is expected that this person would gradually become adept at trouble shooting of process anomalies and process optimization. You will provide accurate metallurgical accounting reports and prepare forecasts.
The ideal candidate is tertiary qualified in Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy or a related discipline and has experience in base metals processing, flotation experience is preferred. Strong communication and analytical skills will be highly regarded and enable you to work effectively as part of a team.
