As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience with a wide range of equipment and will be involved in some significant improvement activities. You will work within business areas to provide continuous improvement and process support across a wide range of areas.
Our graduates are an integral member of small teams identifying design and implementing equipment improvement projects, with a particular focus on plant reliability and availability. Opportunities often exist for graduates to relieve in supervisory and technical roles, depending on individual site requirements.
To be eligible for the Alcoa Graduate Program, it is preferable that you have completed a relevant undergraduate university degree / or similar, or have a maximum of six months left to complete your degree.
Consideration will also be given to recent graduates with some industry experience. Previous Alcoa Vacation Students are also encouraged to apply. Please note that these opportunities are to commence in January 2009.
