Project Controls Manager - Alliance

• Initially working within a start-up team you would help define the project controls management strategy for the projects delivery group
• Working with the Project Manager you would also prepare relevant procedures, plans and cost control mechanisms and their integration into relevant client systems.
• Substantial project control experience on multi-discipline projects within the Mineral & Metals and/or Oil & Gas Industry.
• Good team working and communication skills.
• Understand project scope and commercial conditions and deal with contractual items to minimise potential claims.
• Set-up and supervise a Project Controls group and delegate responsibilities for areas of work to be undertaken to ensure all Project Control services are provided to the project.
• Set-up and ensure the timely implementation of project specific procedures for Estimating, Planning, Cost Control and Change Management in accordance with relevant company procedures, systems and practices.
• Implement risk management.
• Set up and ensure effective monthly project status reports are issued in accordance with the project procedure and departmental practice.
• Ensure the timely preparation and issue, and updating of project programs.
• Co-ordinate the efforts of Planning, Cost Control and Estimating, to incorporate the requirements of changes to project scopes of work.

• Degree in Engineering or Business Studies.
• Member of Association for Project Management or Association of Cost Engineers.

• Conversant with Primavera and standard cost control mechanisms
• InControl proprietary cost control system, Project Portfolio Management and Document Control systems.
• Have experience of working within client premises.
• Russian language would be an asset.
• Experience of working in an eastern European culture would be an asset
