Environmental Analyst / Geological Testing & Analysis

Airtek Environmental Corp. has an opening for a Full
Time and another opening for a Part Time Environmental Asbestos
Analyst by TEM.
Candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be
limited, to;
- The accurate and precise identification of asbestos in
building materials and of airborne fibers using TEM microscopy.
- The complete understanding of principles and applications of
transmission electron microscopy and specifically ISO 10312 method.
- The complete understanding of principles and practices of
laboratory sample control, sample management, chain-of-custody and
documentation.
- The understanding laboratory safety procedures.
- Performing QA/QC practices per company QA/QC manual
requirements.
- Candidates should possess a minimum of a BS in Geology,
Biology or related, experience in asbestos analysis by TEM ISO 10312 method is
a must
- The ideal candidate will have experience in asbestos
analysis by PLM, PCM, and/or TEM AHERA methods.
