Mining Technician

Skill Requirements:
- Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or
technical training, Completion of university
- Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses,
etc.): Not required
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
- Area of Specialization: Mining and mining engineering
- Type of Field Work: Underground
- Computer Systems: CAD - computer assisted design
- Additional Skills: Know and use computer hardware and
software
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under
pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to
- Detail
- Other Information: Bachelor degree in Mine Engineering or a
Tech Mining Diploma. Have 2+
- years of mining engineering experience, prefer underground
potash. Worked with SAP, CAD &
- Mine Planning software such as Vulcan.
