Mining Equipment Sales Representative



Skill Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of high school
  • Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable, Not required
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Type of Sales: Engineering, Manufacturing
  • Type of Sales Account: Local accounts, Regional accounts, National accounts, Key accounts
  • Customers/clients: Domestic governments, Industry
  • Products/Services: Construction materials and equipment, Mining machinery/equipment, Fertilizers,
  • Mineral ores, Refined petroleum and coal products, Utilities, Chemicals and chemical products,
  • Manufacturing and industrial products, Steel
  • Specific Skills: Promote sales to existing clients, Identify and solicit potential clients, Assess client's needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services, Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service, Deliver sales presentations, Prepare and administer sales contracts, Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs, Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, Resolve product and service related problems, Read and understand blueprints, Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment
  • Security and Safety: Bondable
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Computer, Printer, Internet access, Cellular phone
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel overnight, Valid driver's license, Travel expenses paid by employer
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
