Project Engineer

• The position will be responsible for leading and supporting the installation and configuration of our client's systems worldwide.
• Duties include but not limited to: gathering customer requirements and identifying improvements and customizations for systems; act as project manager for system deployments; implementing systems customizations using scripting tools; managing customer relationships from project inception to deployment and post installation support; leading and participating on site system installation efforts and serving as primary contact for support and enhancements after deployment.

Skills / Requirements:

• B.S. in an Engineering discipline required, as well as 1 year project management or relevant work experience.
• Must have strong knowledge of UNIX and Relational Database along with Unix shell scripting and Networking experience.
• Scripting languages such as VB, Perl, and Ruby necessary.
• Candidate must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects. SQL Server, Postgres, Wireless Networks experience desirable.
• Knowledge of mining operations a plus.

Some international travel involved.
