· Mining, Minerals Processing, Materials Handling experience highly desirable

In this position you will be required to have relevant experience in checking the detailed design and production of drawings, covering all aspects of plant construction in accordance with relevant standards and the project requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
· A Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent (recognised in Australia)
· 10 years of proven industry experience
· scope of work will include but not be limited to the following areas:
· Checking of mechanical design layouts in conjunction with the relevant design engineer(s)
· Interfacing the design drafting with other design disciplines
· Checking Layout and Section Development
· Checking Mechanical Concept Design development
· Reporting progress and/or issues to the Lead Draftsperson
· Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and independently as required
· Proven ability to deliver appropriate engineering solutions within a specified time frame
This position offers an immediate start for the successful candidate.
You will have excellent interpersonal, organisational, written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
