Auto Electricians

Murray Engineering provides effective and efficient maintenance services of heavy mobile plant and equipment to the mining industry, and is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to be part of a quality support and training opportunities for the position of Auto Electrician for our Kalgoorlie Operations.

This position will work with a progressive team to:
·         Conduct complete rewires on rebuilt underground equipment
·         Build modify and adapt electrical systems on new and used equipment to suit clients needs
·         Drawing up of schematics on modified systems
·         Use Latest technology in diagnostic software to find and repair electrical faults
·         Complete rewiring of mobile mining equipment, including the design and assembly of electrical harness and dashes.

It is essential that the successful applicants will have:
·         Appropriate experience in an underground maintenance environment
·         The necessary trade qualifications

Applicants will be required to meet the following employment criteria:
·         Able to pass a police clearance, a pre-employment medical and drug screen

It is desirable that the applicants have:
·         A current Senior First Aid Certificate
·         A sound knowledge of Tamrock Face and Production Drills, Caterpillar Dump Trucks, Toro Articulated Dum89p Trucks and Elphinstone Loaders
