AngloGold Ashanti is a global gold producer with 21 operations on four continents, a substantial project pipeline and an extensive, worldwide exploration program. The Australasia region conducts its operations predominantly in Western Australia through the Perth Corporate Office, Sunrise Dam Gold Mine, Boddington Gold Mine (JV with Newmont Group) and Tropicana (JV with Independence NL).
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced SAP Business Process Expert or Key End User to join the Perth Business Systems Team. Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, you will have strong functional skills in the Plant Maintenance business processes, and a solid working knowledge of the preventative maintenance, scheduling and capacity planning processes.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have 3+ years SAP functional experience in a Maintenance related role or supporting the PM function, integrated MM skills are highly desirable. You must have excellent communication and people skills and be a self-starter that can work in a team and autonomously.
This would be a great opportunity for a maintenance professional wanting to break into the SAP Analyst/Specialist market, to gain exposure across other modules of SAP and to champion the SAP PM initiatives.
The role is based at our Perth office but may require occasional site visits within WA.
