Senior Process Control Engineer

An opportunity exists at our Minerals Processing facilities for a Senior Process Control Engineer to join our operating team Reporting directly to the Production Superintendent and coordinating a team of two full time Process Control Engineers the responsibilities of this position include:
· Ownership of the site Process Control Systems (Yokogawa CS3000 / Centum CS) Process Historian (OSISoft) Babelfish Intranet Portal and the Air Quality Control System Network.
· Negotiation and determination of customer support functions from existing and future suppliers
· (Yokogawa, ISS, OSISoft, and Matrikon).
· Management of a team of professional engineers to ensure their future development potential is maximised while providing business critical objectives.
· Determine and prioritise the process control strategies in order to improve process efficiency and information generation.
· Management of the Process Control Departments Operational and Capital expenditure requirements on an annual and monthly basis.
The successful candidate will preferably hold a tertiary degree in engineering, metallurgy or related field, with experience in the application of classical and advanced process control techniques and process control systems.
Previous DCS & PLC programming experience in an automated industrial environment, together with strong computer literacy skills are essential. Prior experience in process control in a minerals processing or similar industry will be highly regarded.
