This company wants you to join them at their [Location] based corporate offices in a full time position in Mine Engineering. Being a major contractor to the mining industry they have many substantial interests and opportunities for your long term career aspirations.
Currently they are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to work in their [Location] offices and become part of an outstanding culture of success and expansion. This is an opportunity to utilise your previous experience in Truck/Shovel operations in an open cut coal environment and work in a capital city location. Your responsibilities will lie within your ability to advise site in production scheduling and short term planning across the operations. You will be accustomed to working to strict deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, along with having a strategic involvement in business improvement initiatives that are beneficial to the company's long term success.
To be successful it is desirable that you:
· Come from a similar background
· Are an excellent communicator
· Are a tertiary qualified Mine Engineer
· Are extremely computer literate
· Have experience in open cut coal operations
· Have experience working with Vulcan and Xpac
