Mine Planning Engineer

· You will be responsible for coaching new staff in all aspects of production control, bringing them up to standard over a short period of time.
· Act as Relief Senior Production Control Engineer during absence
· Develop procedures and tackle projects, working closely with the Senior Long Term Engineer
· Supervise and maintain a close working relationship with mining contract engineers.
· Update pit shells and maintained accurate mine grade / tonnage models
· Large open pit hard rock operation, 8/6 roster, international company with a solid presence in Australia.
· Working knowledge of Surpac and/or Vulcan needed, on top of 3 + years post-graduate experience, preferably in hard rock environments.
