This is a diversified mining group has its headquarters in Switzerland; however the groups operations and projects span 18 countries across the globe.
Our client is currently seeking a Mine Accountant to work on site at their operation based in [Location], approximately 2hrs west of [Location]. This exciting opportunity will see you take on a pro-active role in the management of cost and financial accounting information to meet the needs of the Operational Management.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager the focus of this role will encompass:
· Co-ordination and consolidation of department budges, actuals and forecasts
· Managing end of month processGL reconciliations
· Capital expenditure budgeting, reporting, accounting, and forecasting
· Assisting in prep and analysis of site reports
To be successful you will have:
· Tertiary qualification in commerce/business (CPA/CA preferred)
· 2+ years in Mining or Heavy Engineering industries
· Experience working with ERP system (Pulse ERP preferred)
· Ability to work autonomously
· Have good communication skills both written and verbal
